dont be so negative peeps, my friend only just sat his aptitudes on 29th may. he is waiting for an interview date and you want to know if you're in or not. there are THOUSANDS of applicants, it takes time to review everybodys aptitiude tests and interviews and sort out where and what all the succesful applicants (pending exam results and medical) will be going and doing. jeeesh!!! dont be so inpatient. a friend of mine got through on merit and wasnt offered his place til early august. some people on reserve are offered places in september. there is plenty of time

Think it was just a general what would you do in a certain scenario safety question, nothing major. Spoke to my mate that does the testing for opito and he seems to think that the majority of places still haven't been offered. The only positions have been given to applicants that really stood out so well done if you are one of them! My first choice was instrument. What about everyone else?

i put on my application that i had no prefrence as to what dicipline. i want to do instrumentation tho. would that have any affect or whatever ??

im the exact same, put down no preferences but explained its because im flexible to go anywhere. instrument is my first choice, especially as the college is literally within spitting distance

Don't worry about the interview, it's pretty straightforward so just be prepared to speak about yourself, hobbies and responsibilities- they don't really ask you much about the sector of work itself but I did get asked why I wanted to be considered and also why I selected the disciplines that I did.

Same here. I haven't heard anything. Was thinking of phoning but will wait and see if you get a reply first. Will be so much more settled If I could fine out one way or the other.

Not yet mate. Although I spoke to my friend that does the testing and he said she is very busy organising interviews at the moment so I don't want to keep pestering her. Looks like I'll just have to wait it out...at least until July . Does anyone know when interviews are until?
