Mine was quite short actually - 20 minutes tops. I suppose it varies though.

thank god, thought i was the only one..

Well I sent the email at 3pm and didn't get a reply, so I guess I'll just need to wait it out

What course did you choose as first choice?

aww really? I thought you maybe would of got a reply, still no letter today but I'm not really worrying i thought it would be a while after the 3 weeks. You had any news today? I put down no preference cos I've done a wee bit of them all on my course last year you?

Nope nothing today either, not an email reply haha. But you said you expected a while after the 3 weeks.. How when the 2nd interview is supposed to take place the 1st week in August haha! , my first choice is Instrument & Control Maintenance

Had my interview today in Portlethen, was just me and this guy, went really well I think, questions were pretty easy to answer and the interview lasted 40 minutes as it turned more into a conversation with the guy which I hopes a good sign.

Should be as soon as they receive your medical results/certificates from the place that did them. I got mine through in less than a week after my medical.

Hi guys,

I have been trawling the previous posts for a while now but only just signed up to be a member of the student room.

I had my Ecitb interview in mid June (believe it was the 19th) and am yet to get a response. Interview seemed To go fairly well and they said I would have had a reply by now - has anybody had any word from the ecitb,

P.S. I applied last year and did nt here back until mid August hearing I had nt got in (about 2 weeks before the course started).

Also has anyone any idea on the breakdown of colleges- I asked at the interview and they said they were still trying to confirm which colleges would do each discipline

Thanks that helps a fair bit- I'm in Aberdeen so is not putting me out lol- I know it does seem to be taking some time for them to decide but must be a load of applicants.

I understand the 2nd interview would be with a sponsoring company. I think by the time you get to this interview the places had been cut down fairly significantly did you also get this impression

after speaking to the interviewer on the day , he said that during the 1st interview they were interviewing around 160 applicants, and for the 2nd interview it'd be cut down to 80 applicants - for 30-40 jobs

At least its not just me waiting! I was interviewed at middlesbrough on the 11th, they said it could be into August before we hear a reply but I see that most people received a letter in 2 weeks.
