Ok I've been on love this guy for ages. He got a gf and I was really jealous - he would still flirt with me behind her back all the time.

a few months ago were all together (me, him, his gf and loads of my friends) at a mates house drinking and getting high and then my friend came back into the room and said that him and his gf were having sex upstairs and she had almost walked in on them.

At this point I was really angry and upset, so i drank a load of alcohol and started telling everyone about how he had flirted with me but noone took me seriously. then the guy and his gf came down and everyone started laughing and joking with them.

i went upstairs and shut myself in the bathroom because i was feeling like i was going to throw up and start crying. and then i saw in the bin there was a used condom with a knot in it.

i was really drunk and wasnt thinking straight and i ... this is hard to explain ... but i basically stuck the condom up myself. i dont know what i was trying to do - i think i just wanted a part of him to be inside me. in hindsight it was a really psychotic thing to do but i was totally out of it at the time.

last week i noticed my period was 3 months late and i was feeling really weird. my periods are usually irregular and i am a virgin so i didnt even consider that i might be pregnant. well on friday i fainted after my exam and so went to the doctors to check i was ok. the doctor started asking me lots of questions about my periods. then he said whether there was any chance i might be pregnant. i said no, but it made me think so today i got a pregnancy test and its come out positive. now i am really confused as to what to do because im anti-abortion.

how am i meant to tell him its his baby?

The most important thing is to tell the boy, and also to tell the doctor. It's probably best to avoid telling his gf at first, since that is going to complicate things.

As for you being anti-abortion, remember that it is not just your child. Also remember that you have no obligation to anyone to have the baby, as you and the boy didn't have sex or a relationship

Just remember, tell the doctor. they are used to girls not telling the truth the first time round and for this kind of help you don't even need an appointment.

This is a sensitive issue but waiting around won't help, so act now for the benefit of everyone involved.

I was thinking this... I guess it's possible if she was speedy enough. I imagine sperm can live for about an hour inside a condom. Even so, this is ridiculously unlikely :/

It does, I think it lasts until the semen dries up or something.

Also, technically the guy is the father, but you can't expect him to have responsibility of it, as you actually stuck his semen up yourself when it wasnt, er, destined for you.

a) have an abortion
b) raise the child
c) give the child away when its born

I think the chances of you getting pregnant through the events you have described are very small though. Sperm, outside of the human body, dies real fast - even when its inside the human body - that's why so much of it is produced when ejaculating.

Are you sure that you can't have gotten pregnant through other, more normal, means?

How are you certain that the contents of the condom belonged to this boy? I bet he isn't the only one to have sex in that house.

What are you going to tell the baby when its grown and wants to know where babies come from or who its daddy is?
