hi
i did DT RM last year, but i can tell you how i revised!

i bourt a CGP RM revision guide.... and then i used the internet, one sec let me try and find the website...
heres one that i used... scroll down and it says GCSE revision...
http://www.design-technology.org/
http://www.designandtech.com/resistantmaterials/
http://www.notesandsketches.co.uk/Re...-materials.htm
http://www.design-technology.info/re...on/default.htm
this is the best site i used!!
http://www.technologystudent.com/
right, and what i did was lern a few ways of joining wood e.g dovetail joint, lap joint etc, and hardwoods and softwoods, and tools you use with wood and ways of finishing wood and protecting it and about chipboard and veneers etc.
and then i did a bit about metals - not much though
and then alot about plastcs - lernt some key names of plastics - what they can be used for, what glues you use with them etc etc, tools
and you need to know stuff about health and safety and the environment etc...
the best way i found to revise for this was to make spider diagrams etc and draw out the joining methods for wood etc...
and then... becuase im cool like this and rember things this way... to rember what the different saws do i made up little things that woud jog my memury about them, for example.. an abrafile = abracadabra, its magic it can cut in all directions!! haaha, ok im a wierdo, but it helps me, so i thought i woud shair it!!!
hope that kind of helps, sorry if it doesnt, feel free to ask more questions!!
good luck!
