I've used the search function but can't find any recent useful threads, I was wondering what is the best way to revise for the French listening paper and does anyone know a site which hosts the audio files besides this one as it doesn't seem to work, thanks.
I think reading up on vocab is quite useful. I did that for my Spanish and for my French last year. Just write up all the vocab that you don't know and get learning it. I did this the morning before my Spanish Listening, and about 5 or 6 words out of the 100 odd I'd learnt came up. Quite lucky I'd say, but If I hadn't have learnt those words I probably wouldn't have understood or been able to answer the questions. Try the BBC website too, as they have some good listenings. If you've done them, type French Listening GCSE into Google, and see if any useful websites come up. I've found this website to be extremely useful for revision http://atschool.eduweb.co.uk/rgshiwy...c/hotpotatoes/ so see what you can find on there. I don't think they have listenings, but in terms of vocab, grammar and reading it's particularly useful. Good luck!

I might have some past papers as PDFs and listening files somewhere if you PM me your email address
Oh - and somewhere on the AQA site, there's a list of vocab you'll need to know for the exam. I'll see if I can dig it out.
My teacher suggested listening to french radio, i think you can get it on the internet and just have it on in the background. It gets you used to the accent and the speed and trying to translate it helps.

My teacher said the same, but when I tried, I understood nothing and I got bored...
