This really isn't a great time to start a thread. 2 weeks til the end of exams.

I was reading some other threads and bloody hell this forum has a hell of alot anti chinese, anti communist posters. It kind of scares me.
Makes me want to move out asap.

Hey, I wondered if anyone could tell me where I can get a computer programme that will allow me to type in chinese characters? I can only get alphabet letters but I'd like to be able to type in chinese.

Maybe they just don't like the communist government, you don't have to take everything personally.

I actually finished my exams...so I'm fine. However, I still need to finish off my non-IB exams...so I have to start working.

Nevertheless, just ignore those people. They're too ignorant to understand the Chinese culture. Besides, they won't understand why the Chinese government would do it. I should be none of their business, since they don't even know the Chinese point of view. So just disregard it and be happy, just like this thread.

What non-IB exams do you do? A levels?

I finished all my AS exams on Wednesday but study leave has ended and on Monday we have to go back to lessons again to start A2

There isn't A-levels in my country. We follow the province's curriculum, since our school tries to integrate our province's curriculum with the IB curriculum so that we can receive 2 diplomas at the end of high school. That's how the system works.

I have an AS Chinese exam tomorrow and I need help in translating this:

Can you sum up what the message of this paragraph is?

    Thanks
Hi guys, this person needs help with his Chinese studying, and I'm unable to help him, since I'm very busy this week with exams coming up. Can anyone help him out and translate it out for him? Thanks.

I did it, but it was miserable. I did a crap job, its something about the learning of confuciasm and confuciasm in the modern world. I don't know, i am really not a philosopher or a translator

No...he gave me a private message, but I couldn't help him out, so I post it here, since I was on a busy and tight schedule. Nevertheless, he said that he gave up, thanked me, and left off, since there was no response in the thread.

Thank you everyone for trying though. I really appreciated that.

Yeah good luck to him for the A2 Chinese today, I'll be doing it next year too and apparently, but one section is the pre-prepared essay - everyone should get full marks on that by just memorising a good 作文 text. :p:

I'm doomed if A2 Chinese is gonna be of that level.

Hmm...I can't really determine, since I haven't done A-levels before. Nevertheless, I hope he will succeed in his test and do well. Hopefully he can get an A for his test.

Most people here would be from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China, or Britain. It seems like it.
