Extenuating circumstances
Quick one. With regards to UCAS applications. Do you tell your tutor or go straight to the university? My colleague has to be in court for the 1.5 week leaving little time to study, he cannot have any time off as he is legally bound to be in court. He is an independent student obviously and is just wondering who to tell first?

Both!! That way the university can hear it from him and his tutor.
I would call both - it won't do any harm!!
