English Language Paper 1 Exam...(how it might look)

I've been told it will look something like this

Section A reading

1) Question on Media Texts (Into Death Valley again, It's a Shard life, cycling, etc.)

Split the plan into 3 parts

Content Structure/Photo Language

2) Non Fiction Unseen Text Question

Analyse, Cycling related

Split into 2 parts

Language Content/Character

Section B writing

3) Argue, Persuade, Advise

Could be:

Letter to MP

Speech

Use rhetorical/persuasive devices

Is this correct? And is there any more tips on what you can write about

Dunno what paper 1 you're doing but this is what ours is like:

Fiction reading comprehension (55 mins)
Descriptive writing (25 mins)
Story (40 mins)
if thats correct then cheers fella, been wondering for a while what the structure is. reckon i should do ok on the persuasive part, more concerned about the unseen and other media bits. id say you've got most bases covered there as well, particularly for death valley and the emma davies jones piece, recognise links when you're comparing, analyse bit by bit and you'll notice quite a few prominent differences - i.e. wallowing in self pity.

You don't write a story
Cycling-related?! That's quite specific....

Sorry, you're on about AQA B which gives pre-release material, I do AQA A (where they don't) and was shocked how you knew the questions would be on cycling :p:
