OCR English Language GCSE grade boundary

well, my teacher told me that it was low 90's and i thought that it was impossible for it to be that high, my other english teacher told me it was 84 which seems reasonable, anyone know??

But generally around 75/90 in RAW marks is an A*

yep, usually it is 90ish% i think for an a* - yes, impossible, but somehow, a lot of people manage to get it.....

tbh, i think ocr is the hardest exam board for english... :frown:

Grade Boundaries for an A* for OCR English Language Paper 1:

Jan 08: 73/90
June 07: 75/90
Jan 07: 73/90
June 06: 75/90
Jan 06: 75/90
June 05: 66/90
Jan 05: 67/90

As you can see the highest raw mark there is 75/90, and it repeats frequently so that is my target atleast: 75/90.

That in a percentage is 83%

That seems standard for an A* don't you think?
