Default Help choosing subjects pls
 
Hello Friends,
I am finishing my IGCSE's on June 11th.
I'll be going to Year 12 next year so i had a question dazzing in ma head,
What subjects do i need to choose in A level if i wanna become a software engineer in the future?

ict/computing/computer science (or whatever other computing course your school/collage offers), then i would imagine something like physics or maths

As much maths as possible, physics. If your school do some sort of computing option then maybe that, but I wouldn't bother with I.T. because it's completely different.

Pick Maths. Don't pick ICT which is seen as a soft subject. If you have to pick IT then choose computer science which deals with the nuts and bolts inside a computer.

Do as much maths as possible, ie maths, further maths.

Probably I'd do Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry (with computing if you can stand the workload)
