"One person claimed that Mrs Midas best represents forgotten voice, when comparing this poem to Queen Herod, explore to what extent you would agree with this view."

I just don't get what they mean by poetic voice :confused:

I think 'poetic voice' is the voice behind the poem - the 'I'. This need not be made directly obvious though. However don't fall into the 'intentional fallacy', of assuming that the poem means exactly what the author intended it to (though if you're still at school, you needn't get bogged down in this - ignore me if that's easier!) Sorry if I haven't made myself clear - hope this helps! :smile:
