If you have a good reason there shouldnt be a fine.

If you overslept? 40 or so i think
I think your coursework for that exam will be marked only and if it's really bad then there's a good chance you might get only a U.

theres people at my school missing every single exam, and they're not getting fined...

anyway i think you just get the marks that your coursework got out of the marks for the whole gcse so a really low mark.

Normally they give you about a £20 fine if you don't have a good reason.
Then you just won't get any marks for the paper.
why do they fine you? you already pay exam fees or is this instead?

you get an X for absent on your cert
If you mean by accident, they will call you won't they? when i thourght 1 of my AS exams was in the afternoon not morning, they called me, i paniked, then drove in like a maniac.
