Default nursing
 
i've applyed for a nursing diploma at nottingham, manchester, brighton , leeds and john moores

does anyone / is going to do nursing at one of these uni's?

well i am thinking to do nursing at Nottingham..but what is with the diploma? i am really confused.did you get A level results..or applied straight after your GCSE..it seems like you can..from looking at Nottingham forum..i don't kow..m so confused..

the diploma is a module less from the degree, although you come out with more money due to getting more bursary for it, you should really aim for the degree. Due to the job situation the NMC ( kinda like a comittee for nursing ) are going to try push for students to have degree's over diplomas. i applied to nottingham and it was my insurance choice, one of the good things about Nottingham is that they apparently give you a chance to top up to the degree ( i think this is in the second year) if in doubt, you can always phone up the unis and ask, i always found them happy to advise and very helpful

oooo also, dont know where your thinking about applying for but the date on the first post is pretty old, after this year Leeds are stopping doing the Diploma. dont just rely on peoples comments on here, check with the uni itself aswell as alot of things have changed
