Well maths can seem intimidating when are not 'good' at it but it's not difficult to improve. The best thing to do is practise dividing in doing simple questions them applying the same method to other things. If you have any specific problems then quote this message with what you find difficult and I would be glad to help. Plus, what stage in education are you?
practice practice practice

just do things slowly, and build yourself up.. i was really ****e at maths 8/9 months ago but it was moreof I just couldn't be bothered and would use a calculator.
if you have money, get a tutor
if not ask help from your teacher
and practise practise practise - theres no shortcut

I'm at A2.
I'm fine at 'maths', but I really can't do arithmetic at all (and it's quite embarrasing!!)

I resorted to buying a kids maths exercise book and forcing myself to do it...it's the practice that makes it stick!

It's already been said, but I'll say it anyway. Practice. Do regular practice, and you'll find yourself improving.
