That site's deficient. It used to host the most credible of the one-line self-administered tests, but they've since refurbished it with a memory-exam and populist 'general knowledge' segments which are, with respect to gauging 'intellect', completely and utterly spurious.

IQ tests are bull****, as you may all be aware of. i measured 135 for the international high IQ society, and qualified to join as a member.
Mensa gave me 169 or something, but that was using that crappy puzzle book they send everyone. I think their paid long proper ones are reliable though.
i'd say im quite above the average, but 169 is stretching it a bit. 145ish is deemed to be genius, which, with all due respect, so many people here on tsr cannot be as they are claiming to.
to sum it up, it's just a number generated out of how you felt that day

really? i did it there ages ago and qualified the t3 or whatever one, was really difficult, but they managed to spit out a similar number... :s weird. i don't know how it is now...
also did the WSPC 2006, got 22 out of 24 (i think it was out of 24)!! chuffed! (the average person gets 5 aparantly)

Yep lol, I agree! Especially the online ones - how happy you are probably plays a large factor in your final score..

Albert Einstein for example had an IQ of 115 (in that reagion), the guy from coldplay is higher than that. So would you rate the guy from coldplay as more intelligent than Albert?

I may just be being sour with all these high scores about but mine is in the region of 125-140 depending on which test you take.

The guys from Coldplay went to UCl, they aren't Einstein but they are not dumb.

The point is Einstein was on the pinical of academic genius but he was a specialist in has field rather than someone who was intelligent in reference to the IQ test. Im not trying to take anything away from coldplay guy its just im using einstein in relation.

I have no idea. Taking IQ tests it ranges from about 125 to 150 so I could settle for 138, but I don't like IQ as a means of measuring intelligence anyway; and my IQ definitely isn't 150.
