Can someone work this out for me!

Considering these are the grade weightings;
Unit 1 -16.67%
Unit 2 - 16.67%
Unit 3 - 16.67%
Unit 4 -15%
Unit 5 - 20%
Unit 6 -15%

And these are my grades:

Unit 1 - 70%
Unit 2 - 66%
Unit 3 - 63%
Total = 199UMS.
Unit 4 - Not done yet
Unit 5 - Not done yet
Unit 6 - 53/60 = 88%

How much percentage would I need from unit 4+5 together or seperately to keep a B?
Thank you!
I'm useless trying to get my head around this!
Your UMS so far:
Unit 1 - 70
Unit 2 - 66
Unit 3 - 63
Unit 6 - 79
Total: 278.
A 'B' is 420/600 UMS. You need 142 more to get 420, so 142 UMS points combined from units 4 and 5. Unit 4 is weighted 15% so it's worth maximum 90 UMS, and unit 5 is weighted 20% so it's worth maximum 120 UMS. Sooo, all in all, you need 142 out of a possible 210 remaining UMS points to get a B.

Seems alrght.
How come the coursework comes out as only 79 UMS when 48/60 is an A :s-smilie:.

Because it's weighted as 15%, so that's 90/600. Maximum you can get for unit 6 is 90.
