Medicine - IB Predicted Grades

Current medical students or high school students who are looking into applying to medicine: What were your predicted grades and where did you / are you planning to apply to?

---

I am taking the IB exams in May 2009 and was just given my predicted grades and they were as follows:

Math HL: 5
Biology HL: 7
Chemistry HL: 6

SL - 766

Extended essay and TOK have not been given out yet but realistically I think I will get 2 points.

This gives me a 39. I really want to study medicine in the UK.

Is this good enough for medicine..? I'm getting really scared as most minimum requirements are 38 and HL require at least a 6. Being on the borderline is not very good is it...

----
Well the SL subjects aren't that looked at. However, that 5 in maths is pretty low.

Even with the required grades you still need to secure an offer, which seems to be the harder part.

Is 7 like an A? and 6 a B and 5 a C etc ??

- I think so

I found out that I can change my predicted grades over the first semester up until the day I send them out.

I'm gonna study like MAD over the summer and prove those teachers wrong!! :p:
6 is treated like an A by most of the unis. Only oxbridge want more than 6,6,6 at HL.
