OCR Synoptic- conscience as evidence for the existence of god?

Right ive just revised all of the theories that can go into the question e.g. different views on the conscience (Aquinas, Butler etc) and the moral arguments (Kant, Owen, Trethowan etc) which i understand...but how the hell do you argue them against each other in a question. I just dont see how you sturcture you answer what so ever!? Please help me :frown: xxx

well if i had a question on moral responsiblity and how that suggests the existence of God, i would probably start by summarising the argument, or whatever they are asking about. What do you have to do to be moral, what conditions need to be in place, what does it prove, if anything? etc...

Summarise the moral argument and Kant's position on it as well as his ethics

Criticise/back it up with what Aquinas and others say about the conscience. Link it to Christian theology and ethics

Against: Freud/Piaget - social/psychological conditioning

Use the evolutuonary theory, criticise this with Kant

Conclusion.
