Long or short hair men

What looks better in your opinion short or long hair on men? I have longish hair down to my neck, my fringe is relatively short and doesn't cover my eyes. Can't decide whether to get it cut short or not. Need some opinions as to whether short or long hair would look better on men from a girls opinion?
LONG! But I suppose it does depend on the guy.

But usually mid length, slightly curly... closer to short than long
It really does depend on the guy and the type of hair.
But I tend to go for guys with longer hair.
I don't like long long hair..anything past shoulders on a guy and I'm not interested...and even then, if it's shoulders length it has to be..shaped, not just parting in the middle straight down hair.

In fact, I think I ought to just go for short; by short I mean long enough for someone to run their fingers through not..shaven. Oh it's hard to describe.

It depends on the guys face, and height and character really. Oh and of course their hair type.
I think long-ish hair looks best, sort of like what you described, maybe a wee bit shorter. I don't think short hair looks nice unless the guy is really attractive. Long hair makes an average-looking guy look loads better. That's what I think anyway.

Mid - length hair looks hot on guys who can pull it off, sort of the tom cruise look
