ffs. Waking The Dead is the most unrealistic British police show. The character of Boyd would not get away with the vast majority of his interview techniques if he were real, because he bullies his suspects.

admittely yes he does bully them. BUT as i said, the laws they say in it are real.

Well if we're getting our evidence from tv:

I've seen a lot of crime dramas where a member of the police force has had to try and convince the victim of sexual abuse to report it. If what you're saying is true then the policeman/policewoman could just go right ahead and report it.

But after all... it's tv. It is NOT the best place to get your information.
