I might hand in notice after under 2 months due to no shifts since last week and haven't got any scheduled for next week ever. Hopefully, I'll get the job at Tk Maxx.

They're making sure they get every last ounce of your work! :p:

I've only got 10 hours next week, only cause I asked for just a couple of shifts due to tiredness. Got a 15:00-20:30 on Thursday and a 14:00-19:30 on Saturday, so 2 closes. Then I have 2 weeks of with going to uni and stuff, then it'll be back to part time for me

Ouch. That's a really long shift as well, and it's never fun working when you're not feeling great :console:

what are you planning on doing at uni?

lol well I survived and got out 2 hours early because it was dead which I'm glad as I almost started crying at around 11pm (they put me on booth 1 taking orders and my voice kept going in and out and now my throat feels like someone's stabbing it =/) also they gave me all my breaks before 9pm which was a bit mean lol

only a 7 hour shift tomorrow so quite happy just hope I don't completely lose my voice!

    I'm gonna do Mechanical Engineering

That's nice that you got out early! It's awesome when that happens hehe. That was a bit mean with the breaks though.

I hope you're throat will be better today! The worst I've ever had when serving people is the hiccups  I'm sure loosing your voice is 463523523 times worse than that though! And yey for nice short shifts! :woo:

Its my second shift tomorrow and I was wondering if someone could answer some questions
Do I turn up in my uniform or get changed there?
If i get changed there do I turn up early to get changed and then clock in when my shift starts or Do I turn up normal time and clock in and then go and get changed?
    Thanks

I always go in uniform but thats cause I drive there. Some walk and change there but others just wear coats etc.

It's up on you but I find been in uniform better cause if theres traffic or something you just put phone etc in locker and clock in.

Always clock in when your in uniform, they don't like paying you as it is, so make sure you work when you are been paid. So when your in uniform (even if you decide to change into uniform there clock in, clean hands and start work.

I know! It's because the festival which was here is over now, so we're getting really short shifts. It's like after Christmas time, it just pretty much dies. And we'd be over staffed slightly since people aren't off to uni yet. Plus I asked for shorter shifts this week due to tiredness :p:

Yeah, we have amazing opening times because we are inside a mall. We shut at 6:30pm weekdays, 7:30pm on a Thursday and 5:30pm on a Sunday, it's great!
