If theres more than one easiest thing is to either book them off seperate or just go in and speak to the schedule manager and ask that you write it in the diary.

They're not letting us write in the diary no more and they have stated any requests must be done on mctime but thanks anyway, I've done them separately like the way you mentioned above on mctime

I have an interview on friday.

I applied for night time evening shifts full time and I am really quite confused as to when an evening shift starts and what full time means

I quite fancy working after the shop is shut because in a sad way I like cleaning haha

Are you applying for Stirling? If so, which store?
Don't know about the evening shift thing; it depends on the store's closing time. Where I worked it was 9 or 10pm depending on the day of the week, so the latest shift was 3-11. All the cleaning was done within an hour or so of closing the store.

A close here is either 6pm-4am on weekdays, or 7-5 on the weekends when we're open an hour later :p:

That's the one I worked at this summer. Do you want full time? They'd probably give you part time if you asked at the interview. And be friendly; that's what they kept going on about what they wanted it their staff:p:

Well there are a few nutters:p: But some nice people as well.
I didn't have an OJE; it just says that on all the automated emails. It was just an informal chat with one of the managers, not much to worry about

You need to find out if the store is 24/7 or not. If it's 24/7 then the over nighters is 10/11pm to 6/7am. Sometimes you start earlier. So it won't just be cleaning you will also be serving the staff.

    It's not a 24 hour store

Any idea what the wages are for a 17 year old are? I finally managed to get an interview for Saturday after a string of rejections.

    Same boat as me. £4.35.

I've had my orientation, completed the online orientation and they said they would ring me the day after I complete the online orientation.

I did that the night I had the orientation at the restaurant I'd be working at, passed it and still haven't had a phone call.

Any ideas what to do? I went on McTime and there wasn't anything about me on there for shifts etc...

how many rejections did you have? and how long til you finally got it?

    I had 12 rejections altogether.

I had an interview pretty quickly, got offered the job in the interview and then attended an orientation (all within 1 week). Now I'm waiting for them to tell me the hours I'm working :/

Good luck with your interview. Mine was nothing hard, they had my application form and they just questioned me about it. They also asked why I wanted to work there, and what do you think McDonalds does (drive thru workers, cleaners, cooking, tills etc)

Maybe I'm over-reacting with 'string' of rejections as it was only 3 times. The restaurant where I applied to had 10 vacancies with 6 being part time so I applied to 3 of them mixing up the answers with any I didn't feel extremely comfortable with. Got a call today with my application being submitted on Monday.

    Probation ?!

Yeah. So. I'm on my 3rd week of probation next week...so I'll find out if I passed or not.

How do I ensure I DO pass the probation period ? At the moment I've done about 5 SOCs and got 100% on all of them; I start work 5 mins early (arrive earlier than that); I don't have very much of the free food on breaks and I now get all the dressings and everything right. The only thing I do stuggle with is speed, though I have managed to "beat the meat" many times. Everyone keeps saying I'm doing fine but I'm still worried I will fail.

This is my first job whilst I study the BTEC National Diploma for IT Pracitioners (Level 3) at college...so it means a lot to me.

    Any help ?!
