    Hmm, I think it was Nosferatu (1922)! I don't much enjoy older films but I do try to watch as much as possible from the 60s-80s as there is some gems in there

    My fave cinema is from before the 70's:
    Anything by Hitchcock
    The Pink Panther Series (Peter Sellers is a better Clouseu than SMartin by MILES)
    All the movies starring the Marilyns, Audreys, Katherines and Bettes of the day.
    I absolutely love the stylish outfits the women wore in the 40's and 50's, so can't resist raving about old cinema.
    Also, agree about the early James Bonds (60's/70's only)

    The Lodger (1927) is my oldest favourite that I can think of. Great film!

    The oldest film I know and enjoy is Workers Leaving the Lumiere Factory (1895). I win.
