Why is everyone in here so cocky about A-levels?

All I am saying is I believe that the students at the top American universities are stronger than the students at top British universities because they have to not only be strong academically but also complete various ECs, compete nationally, etc. A 4.0/perfect SAT does not necessarily get into Harvard, whereas 4 As at A-level and a not-so- crappy interview probably gets you get into Oxbridge.

No, all you were saying was that an A at A-level was easier to achieve than 97% in a SAT test.
