They look at A-Levels, IB, APs, Scottish Highers etc... but SATs are a requirement no matter what you've studied.
Most US schools require either the SAT or ACT. Most require SAT, even for internationals. You can find out more at their website http://www.collegeboard.com/
Yes, though, they will accept your A-Levels, but you also need the SAT.
