Is it worth taking a maths degree?

Maths at Warwick isn't too bad if you have the enthusiasm for the subject. You'll find that there is a significant jump between A-level and 1st year mathematics, and then it's an even bigger jump going into 2nd year. If you can get through that in one piece, you'll do fine. I'd think carefully about coming to do Maths at Warwick though if you're having second thoughts, a lot of people end up dropping out or changing course.
