Straighten Hair, Wax, Straighten?

Basically when i straighten my hair it does jack ****, so i put some matt clay, straighten, clay, straighten, then it starts to take shape, when i use my straightener though it absolutely reeks (coz of the burning wax) and it lets off so much smoke, i always thought it was going to set of the fire alarm in my room last year, plus i have the straightener on the highest temp,

anyone else do this?, if i bought a better pair of straighteners would it make much difference?

Nah, straighten before you put the wax on.

It will reek, no matter which straightners you use. So put the wax on after.

My hairs already ****ed anyway, when i get it cut short its allright though, thing is when i straighten it, it really doesnt do much, i have to apply wax then straighten it for it to do anything, its well coarse and thick

What straighteners do you use?!
I've only found one pair that actually work on my hair, without putting loads of crap in it.

A pair of remingtongs, think its called, wet 2 straight or somthing, cost around £40 from boots. which ones do you have?

at uni, from my close mates out of about 8, id say 6 straighten thier hair, everyone in my profile pic straightens thier hair lol..

No, I don't think they do. I presume it could burn their heads, if they tryed.

Although my hair, is not really long, it's a nice length. :p:

nah its originally that dark
Just get some GHDs, seriously, you'll notice such a difference.

Also, try to straighten as much hair as you can before the wax on.
