Default classics
 
Couldnt find anything on the subject guide about classics, just wondering whether anybody could tell me about it? Do i need to have done a-level history, classics or latin?

Hello!

It depends whether you want to do Classics or Classical Studies - with Classics you will need A-Level Latin and/or Greek for most places, whereas in many places you don't even need to have studied Classical Studies/Civilisation before in order to do Classical Studies.

And (even though I may be biased) Exeter University has one of the best Classics departments in the country

However, I would you caution you - you have to be absolutely sure that you want to study it! I know from first-hand experience that it won't be exactly what you expected and that, if you're not passionate about the subject, it will make you miserable.
