GCE O & A Exams

Hi!

I'm an International Student and am going to be taking some exams in January 2005. Here's what I'd be taking:

General Studies A
Business Studies AS
Economics AS
Mathematics O Level

I'd really appreciate if someone could give me some advice on these exams.

For example, with General Studies, is a short good answer better than a long one that isn't as good? Also, is there any particular stuff I should know (such as UK elections and politics)?

With Math O Level, what are the major areas you should study (trigonometry, geometry, algebra, etc.)? Does anyone know what I can get a past paper for it?

Also, how would you rate these exams in difficulty?

Thank you.

If you ensure your General Studies answers are logical, structured and well argued you can't go far wrong.

I suspect your exam board for Maths is Edexcel. In which case, see the link below for various documents detailing the syllabus, and therefore what you should concentrate your revision efforts on.
