OP - Like it was said She's English, because she was born in England. Her ancestors and bloodline are part German.

The Queen was born in London.

Simply saying she's German is rather simplistic. Seeing as she's descended from William the conqueror she has all sorts of blood in her: French, Spanish, Portuguese, English, German etc.

yes, the royal family is originally German, but as someone else said, they engaged in a massive cover-up in WW1 to avoid being killed as enemy agents. :biggrin:
