anorexia nervosa & some kind of 'mood disorder' i.e. they are holding off on making a definite diagnosis I suppose? used to be diagnosed with major depression, has changed recently.

Mild psychotic symptoms (voices)
Was once mentioned that I have anxiety too but I don't think it was ever diagnosed and I wouldn't count it as a mental illness (how it is for me anyway)
Also self-harm and suicide attempts but they're not illnesses, just symptoms.

Was diagnosed with mild/moderate depression during my teenage years (say 15-17), saw a counsellor for 9 months. Still have episodes of depression but i usually sit in my room and cry for a few hours and tend to find something else to focus on (watch a movie for instance).

not really. researches show that 1 out of 4 people will have some sort of mental health illness in their lifetime. thats why im trying to find out how many of you have a mental health illness. i know the results would not be accurate as people who do not have a mental health illness might not reply or vice versa but its still worth trying.

more people are going to reply who have mental illnesses because of how it's worded.

wouldn't it be better to make a thread/poll asking 'have you ever been diagnosed with a mental illness?'?

in the past i had depression and bulimia.

now just a mild anxiety disorder
