Default Help regarding ICT degree (really needed)

Hi, new member here.... to cut to the point. I will be doing an ICT related degree in September and of all the related subjects I only do Applied ICT. I just really need to know whether or not Universities (in general) will ASSUME that I know stuff that students might have been taught for A level ICT.
So basically what sort of information for a computer science degree are upcoming students meant to know?

The degree does not request that students already be doing an ICT realted subject at A level, this tells me that we will be learning from scratch, however they always reccomend Maths/Science related subjects (which I DONT do)

Hope this post makes sense and I really would appreciate feedback, especially from those with experience.

For Computer Science? No experience with computers is required (well, apart from the obvious how-to-use-one), and they don't require Computing or ICT A-level. Well, most of them don't. They usually start from scratch so you wouldn't be behind. The reason they ask for Maths is because a large part of the course is Maths-based/related. A bit of Maths knowledge is required, along with a logical mind, but they don't assume that you know much

What degree course are you doing? Because there is a very large difference between computer science and an IT degree.
