Australia Gap Year !!!!!!

basically me and my boyfriend have decided we are going to take a year out to go to Australia!! so excited!!! Anyone got any advice , tips, good places to go, experience, do, good ways to make money as we will be working as we go along , we are going for a year so plenty of time to do stuff, any feedback will be great :]

Ayers Rock and Uluru is amazing!!!!!!!!!! Its in the middle of nowhere but the the 3 day camping trip is one of the best things I've ever done.

Perth is really chilled and the West coast down to the Margaret river is stunning! Melbourne / Sydney big cities. Cairns is hot, East coast is crazy full of backpackers!

Fraiser Island is amazing, watch out for the dingo's though

sydney is better than melbourne by a long shot for tourists IMO

Cairns was the other place i went to, more tropical climate and a lot of tourist actitives there - especially adventure stuff like skydiving, etc
also cairns is a good palce to go to go diving in the barrier reef
