halls on insurance

just wondering, what is the likely hood of not being offered a hall if notts is your insurance choice and you end up going there than your firm?

also, whats the likelyhood of getting a type fo hall you want? (i.e. catered or self catered...)

Nottingham was my insurance and still ended up in my first choice accommodation. Catered, single study, university park (Derby Hall). As long as you apply on results day, you should be fine. There should be a variety of accommodation available, because of all the people who didn't make their offers. Accommodation is guaranteed anyway, you just might not get the type you wanted.

blonde_bomb, sorry but you might want to check your info as this is completely wrong, it sounds like you just got lucky.

Accommodation is not guaranteed for students choosing Nottingham as their insurance choice.

Catered halls are already full and the lengthy waiting list pretty much indicates that if you haven't applied by now, your chances of getting into a catered hall are slim at best. There will be the odd one here or there but in general, insurance students will not get a room on campus.
