I currently hold an offer for Sociology and I‘m thinking of changing it to a Business course. I feel that I should wait until I get accepted for the Sociology course before I try and change it. Has anyone here at Brunel done this or know anyone who has?

We had people changing course a week or so into the start of the term, so as long as you meet the entrance criteria for the new course, there should be no problem with changing now or later. But of course do phone up and double check!

After my A Levels I'm not quite sure if I would have met the entrance criteria for the business course (They’re a grade higher than I need for Sociology) and I’m nervous because business is quite competitive. Is there no hope for me at all if I don’t meet the grades by like a grade or 2?

probably depends if they have filled the course or not.

Phone your Uni....they will be able to talk to you and advise you best when to change your course.

Brunel should be fine, from my knowledge of the Uni they're one of the nicer ones who are more flexible.
