Default Question about ICT degree, having second thoughts.

Hi

When i applied to university i was torn between doing a software engineering course or doing a generic ICT course. In the end i applied for: BSc (Hons) Information and Communications Technology at salford university and didn't look back. Now i'm starting to panick, reading the description on salford's website and wondering weather it would be interesting enough for me. I put the course code GH56 into the course search on the website for UCAS, and another university has the course titled as:
Computer Systems Engineering

I read the description of the course on some of the websites from the other uni, and they make it sound alot more interesting and like something i would quite enjoy studying
Is the course i will be on at salford the same as the one described on the other uni websites?

Aww i'd prefere being able to say "Hey i'm studying computer systems engineering" than "I'm doing ICT". Just Sounds better
(I have friend's who do alot of science subjects at college, they tend to look down on me a bit )

Oh and if anyone has done a degree in ICT could you tell me a bit about you're experiences?
Thanx in advance for any advice!
