I was a bit stupid and forgot to apply for my student loan until about a month ago (I'm starting second year so I should've known better really). It's still being processed but they've now lost my parents forms which is going to hold things up a few more weeks.
Basically, can they not give me the loan because I applied late? One of my friends said I'll probably get it but not in time for September which is still worrying because how do I enrol without proof of funding from my LEA? What if I get no money at all?! Has anyone else been in this situation?

You'll just get your loan late usually only the first payment though. They'll have sent you something to do with funding by then i'd have thought, if not just tell them your situation, you wont be the only one in it.

I havent sent off my parents income forms yet :o I must get that done this week Im a continuing student though and i know i'll just get my loan late which doesnt bother me too much.

I called this morning, the bloke said it's probably because they're receiving so many forms at the minute they haven't had the chance to update the system, so it's sending me automated messages. He said to give it a few weeks.
