Why have you guys chosen to do law? I want to get a good discussion going about people views and opinions???

1. Intellectual
2. Opens many doors to other careers
3. Challenging
4. Good money in the profession
5. interesting.
Law was the only course I found interesting other than Politics and that seemed more limited in its scope than I would have liked. I'm not sure if I want to be a lawyer, work in the media, be a civil servant or whatever. Law provides a pretty firm base for all of those careers so that is why I went for it.

Beautifully set out. Agreed absolutely. :-)
The law is an intellectually stimulating degree course that is relevent and interesting. It also brings many transferable skills- forming an argument, writing concisely and reading critically - that can be applied to many professions.
