Guess I wouldn't 'catch' that considering you were responding to my post saying that human life was more sacred to me than to you.(Original post by lessthanthree)
ah, I knew you'd say that.
I was stating that the life of a foetus is more valuable to you than it is to me, as opposed to human life in general. Guess you didn't catch that.
Your reply meant you differentiated between a life in utero and a life ex utero.
I do not differentiate - either a human life is a human life or it is not. So what is your interpretation of the life that is in the uterus? Animal, plant, mineral or alien

It's either changed recently or is doe to change with the new sexual offences bill...partly because it was so rediculously defined(Original post by sashh)
Oh and this may have changed recently but was certainly the case a few years ago. Indecent asssault against a woman - max sentance 2 year, same assault against a man max sentance 10 years.
*googles to check*
found it - came in in May 2004

rape now = penetration of vagina, mouth or anus with a penis. They've also brought in a new offence of "assault by penetration" where something other than a penis is used.
Both have a potential life sentence
Sexual assault now has a maximum sentence of 10 yrs regardless of the gender of the victim.
