Default Food?

Hey guys!

Am trying to create a budget for myself at Uni next year and was just wondering how much food actually costs?

I was in my First year last year and living in catered halls, so didn't have to do any food shopping

Thanks guys.

My weekly shop varied between £10 and £60 depending on what I needed and what I already had.

I would say between £10-20/25 unless you're an extravagant eater or someone who relies on ready meals.

Dude it mainly depends on how much effort you can put into your cooking. If you put a fair amount in you could live on a tenner a week, making your own pasta and stuff like that. You'll probably find out yourself what you can do, and how much you can spend a week.
