Hiya, just want to know if anyone knows any good reputable hairdressers in Manchester who aren't too steeply priced.

Thanks

Default New hairstyle [mens]

i need a new hairstyle, i've had the same one for maybe 2 years now. while it looks good sometimes, it's kinda hard to maintain, about 3 weeks after i get it cut it looks a bit stupid. here's how it is; sides are short, front is kinda pushed to one side, then the rest of the top is all sticking up and so is the back. it looks rubbish after 3 weeks because i have thick hair, and i dont use gel anymore so it's like a big hedge after a while. any thoughts? i really ain't got a clue what else i could do... appreciate any opinions !

I was going to post exactly the same thing!

My hair is really thick and now it's been 4 weeks since I've had it cut there's not much point in gelling it any more. I have some really good gel but my hair is so thick and straight I can't do anything with it.

I would like to have longer hair that I could maybe straighten just to go for something completely different. Not sure whether it will work though because in the past after 4 or 5 weeks without a cut my hair looks awful. We'll see by the time I come back from holiday it will have been over 7 weeks without a cut!

How metrosexual

Fish Wax Styler and Protector

'Protection with style!' was Paul Burfoot's cry, and his Kingfisher extreme protection hair styler is the sleek long lasting way to style and protect!
Two film forming polymers provide good setting properties, that can be completely washed out from the hair without leaving a residue.
It features emollient oils to add sheen and prevent the hair from drying out, lanolin that softens plus UVA / B filters to protect the hair against environmental damage.
The result is the best hair protector and styler known to man!

----------------

Is that the one? what type of hair/style is it good for?

There's a few different types...there's a white wax and a brown wax, the white ones a bit softer and can be better depending on you, but I use the brown one..its a bit more tougher and works with my hair well...only need to use a little too!

There's a roll-on applicator (I'd say roll it on your hand...not your head!) which is pretty good, but I don't think its really worth the price its at.

The brand is Fish SOHO or something, in blue.

I've never heard of the ones you've talked of though, picture?

My hair was that same colour of medium brown and I just died it to that shade of red

I used Loreal casting creme (the shade is called amber) but it's only semi permanent.

I don't really like that shade of red, I like a darker red than that but if you want to get it that colour then do it.
