I'm doing my report on absolute zero which is basically an excuse to write about Bose-Einstein condensate. Anyone know how deep do they expect you to go into the subject i.e. beyond AS standard?

You should go a little beyond yes, but not into anything too deep, certainly nothing beyond first year undergrad physics.

You might also want to look up and discuss entropy, you should be able to prove absolute zero is unattainble using the basic laws of thermodynamics.
