Work experience in france

Does anybody have any idea how I could go about getting work experience in France. I don't have any contacts in France but I'd really like to spend some time there and practice my french
Are there any good companies?

I went on a work experience in France this year with an exchange company called Acorn Educational Exchanges which was pretty good. The website is www.aee.eu.com.

You can go online and book and they will sort out your placement, insurance, travel, accommodation and they give you 2 meals a day.

It's a little pricey but it really is a great experience. The place we visited was Strasbourg, which was great as I got the chance to visit a town which I probably wouldn't have chosen to visit myself.

Oh, and you get great opportunities to experience French nightclubs! :biggrin:

I would assume they are quite similar to nightclubs over here - except I've never been to one over here (yet).

Great - one of the drinks they have quite alot is called 'vodka pomme' - which as you can probably guess is vodka and apple juice.

They have some amazingly cool pubs in Strasbourg though, like one that sells a yard of vodka pomme. It's like 12 glasses of vodka pomme for something like 15EUR, great for sharing!
