I use a bit of both. I'll say something along the lines of 'they shouldn't have done that' when watching them play, but then, if I'm talking about them off the pitch, It'll be 'Oh look, we're signing...', or just 'We won/lost' (delete as appropriate...)

tbh, I've always found it weird people saying we, it's like "what position were you playing?". I'd never say we when talking about Man U or Bournemouth but might be more inclined to say we when talking about England because it feels more right as I am English

i use both

"they're killing us"
"we're getting battered"

they're pretty much the same thing - ie the represent the team, just depends upon how you use it in a sentence.
I'm a girl and i love football, my team being WBA :yep:
I use we as i feel apart of my club, i pay to see them, i love them.
We are albion, we're gonna win today, etc..
I dont see why you don't get this to be honest

We love our team and feel part of it even though we do not do anything on the pitch, we pay to see them, stuff from the shop etc. We just love them and football is great, not too hard to understand
