Generally, answers to this question seem to be geo-political or historical. Ok, we get 'why' historically Great Britain enters the Olympics instead of entering as its separate component countries. But really, the elephant in the room, the crux of the question is "why doesn't England have the balls to enter under its own banner"? Seriously, aren't you a little embarrassed? You can dress it up any way you like but it looks kinda desperate and funny to the rest of us.
