The Student Room Group
Well, what is it you want to do exactly? If you want to do modern global history or economic history, than LSE is a natural fit. If you want to do anything else, chances are Edinburgh would be a better place since they have a more diverse span of coverage. They say LSE's teaching and student environment leave much to be desired, while Edinburgh is a nice city and a good university albeit with annoying administrative problems. Personally, I would do Edinburgh for an undergraduate degree over LSE, if only because it has more diverse offerings and is a little more pleasant lifestyle wise from the sound of things. I'm not going to do a second BA (or in that case MA) though.
