Re: Is the UCAS update automated?
Yes basically, the admissions tutors from your Uni department will look at the results on the Sunday/Monday/Tuesday.
- If you make your offer its simple, you're in and the Uni accepts you.
- If you miss your offer your file will be looked at and they will consider whether or not there is space for you.
- A actual person or group of people will decide your fate as the UCAS system does not automatically update itself.
On the wednesday, the Unis inform UCAS of whos got Unconditional offers, who hasnt got in and who they are unsure about.
You will be able to find this out when the Track system updates on Thursday midmorning.
PQ's thread is amazingly helpful though, and definitely worth a thorough read!
