Newcastle Uni clearings list published already??

Just been on the Newcastle Uni website and seen that the 2008 clearing listings have been published. This cant be right, surely? Any explanations? Cheers

I don't understand that as universities only get the results today. I'm assuming these are for the courses they KNOW will be in Clearing i.e. didn't fill up, and then there will be more vacancies on results day when people haven't met their offers.

Well, the universities have now received our results so i would assume that newcastle have made all of their decisions and seen what empty spaces they have available.

Otherwise it may just be a mistake in their system.
yeah, it'll be for courses that they know didn't fill up because not enough people applied to them. although don't they get the resuts today? so i image that now until shortly after results day (after all the begging etc.) then it'll be updated.
