What to tell others?...
I know it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks because it's all down to me, but I'm East Asian and particularly in our culture other people are so interested in what students do. It'd be bad enough if I had to resit in a gap year and reapply for 2009, but telling others is worse because it makes my parents even more disappointed in me. 
- What have others? I thought about saying I simply wanted to take a gap year, which isn't really lying since this is partly true. Or deferred entry. Gah this is all so stressful!
