And it's only 20 minutes walk to the Strand campus and in convenient distance to everything you need.

Ok even more excited. just not about the food- im constantly on salad and seafood diets so given the feedback i got on the dinners, im probably gonna have to make so with something else, but oh well

I can't say much about the food. It wasn't great. They have salad, but if you want dressing, bring your own. As for seafood, they make good fish & chips, but that is about it...

haha..well its nice to know they have salads! not that bad afterall...i will smuggle my own mozzarella in or something to top it off
btw is there any place i can look at the stats of those in the hall, i.e. lse, ucl, kcl etc. To see who the majority are

The stats vary from year to year and I don't know of a website that shows them. A good number are from SOAS, UCL, King's, and LSE though as these campuses are closest to the halls.

ah, i was there last year. i would say the food is good. but the downside is that people often set the fire alarm, which can be quite annoying because a lot of folks smoke in their rooms, which technically is not allowed. i know this because i was 1 of them too haha~ dont blame me i was on the 6th floor. anyway its a good place to stay overall

Wow how did you know so fast? I'm still waiting to hear about my accommodation! Did you hear from the actual hall itself or KCL?

Congrats on getting a hall you're happy with though! I think I put Commonwealth down as my fourth choice.

Commonwealth Hall as well! Will see you guys there!

Out of interest anyone know what the floor plan is like or anything, will we just be in corridors of rooms or will there be like seperate flats with some rooms and like a shared living space?

Was just wondering if any of you got offered a Commonwealth Hall place, en-suite...? I'm not sure if it's a typo or not, because I thought there were almost no en-suite rooms there! Maybe this has happened to someone else...? If it has, it may well just be a mistake, but I do quite want to believe it...[:
